Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM in Cedar Rapids, IA. This is a temporary position with potential to become full-time; compensation is $15 per hour with daily pay available.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Computer and data-entry skills.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EHR) systems.
• Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare privacy requirements.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Healthcare or medical records experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review, organize, and file patient medical records as the Medical Records Administrator
• Scan and upload documents accurately into electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and properly maintained
• Respond to medical records requests from patients, hospitals, physicians, and insurance companies
• Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and healthcare privacy requirements
• Track admissions, discharges, and other required patient documentation
• Assist with audits, record retention, and other medical records processes as needed
