Job summary

Lacamas Creek Post Acute is seeking a detail oriented and organized Medical Records Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate resident medical records while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and confidentiality standards.

Pay ranges from $19.29 to $24.11 per hour, based on experience, and the position includes duties such as processing admissions, discharges, transfers, filing, scanning, and responding to records requests

Qualifications

• Maintain and organize resident medical records in both electronic and paper formats.
• Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Protect resident confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize resident medical records in both electronic and paper formats.
• Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Process admissions, discharges, and transfers related to medical records
• File, scan, and retrieve documents as needed
• Protect resident confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Assist with medical record audits and regulatory compliance
• Respond to requests for medical records in accordance with facility policies
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and staff
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned
