Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Experience in healthcare setting is preferred (1 year).

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity and confidentiality of patient medical records in accordance with HIPAA and NorthShore policies.
• Process scan, filing, and transfer of records; respond to chart requests promptly.
• Scan and attach documents to electronic charts within 24 hours of receipt.
• Process faxes securely and dispose of sensitive documents properly.
• Attend mandatory staff and records department meetings as required.
