GardaWorld Federal Services is seeking a Records/Healthcare Documentation Specialist in Surprise, AZ. You will maintain, organize, and secure resident medical records, ensuring HIPAA compliance and accessibility for authorized healthcare operations.

Work with physicians, nursing and behavioral health staff to process intake, treatments, labs, and reports, while maintaining confidentiality in a secure correctional environment. Must meet security requirements and pass background checks.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable experience navigating EHR/EMR systems in clinical settings.
• Certification in RHIT or CEHRS preferred; equivalent recognized credentials acceptable.
• U.S. citizenship or legal work authorization required.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain, organize, and secure resident medical records and healthcare files.
• Process intake screenings, treatment notes, labs, prescriptions, referrals, and reports.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and proper documentation across systems.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and admin staff on records management.
• Handle requests for medical records with confidentiality and chain of custody.
• Audit records for completeness and regulatory compliance.
