Genesiscareers is seeking a Record Management Manager in a nursing center to oversee the organization, security and storage of patient records in compliance with federal and state regulations. You will manage records across health information, personnel, and business office files.

Key duties include creating records for new admissions, ensuring accurate diagnostic coding for billing, and conducting routine audits from admission to discharge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree strongly preferred or commensurate experience.
• Certification or working knowledge of ICD coding required.
• 3+ years of records management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate maintenance and security of patient and staff records.
• Ensure accurate diagnostic coding for billing of patient care.
• Create medical records for new admissions.
• Audit records from admission to discharge for compliance with policies.
• Maintain the electronic diagnosis list.
