Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Accredited Institute recognized by the State Dept. of Education).
• Able to work overtime during peak seasons when required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Comfortable using phones, fax machines, printers, and other office equipment.
• Professional verbal and written communication in English.
• Detail- and quality-oriented for accurate medical records information.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Work with minimal supervision under changing priorities.
• Organize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Capable of fast-paced, accurate response to requests.

Responsibilities

• Serve as front desk contact for patients requesting medical records or releases.
• Provide phone support to patients, providers, and authorized requestors.
• Process Release of Information (ROI) requests accurately and timely.
• Fax, scan, and manage incoming/outgoing medical record requests.
• Burn medical images to CDs and share images electronically as required.
• Support client relationship management through professional communication.
• Assist with reporting and administrative duties such as data entry and email.
• Ensure HIPAA/privacy compliance and facility policies.
