Job summary

Tri-State Orthopaedics is seeking a full-time Medical Records/EMR Specialist for our North Hills Office to support quality assurance and reconciliation of electronic chart documentation. Responsibilities include reviewing chart documentation and ensuring accurate transmission of notes and results to other providers.

The role emphasizes knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems, with on-the-job training and potential partial work-from-home after full training.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and proofreading.
• Orthopaedic experience is a plus.
• EMR/EHR experience preferred but training on the job will be provided.
• Excellent computer and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and process chart documentation and medical record releases.
• Ensure continuity of care by transmitting consultation notes, test results and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with specialists to share information with other providers.
