Qualifications

• Must have ability to manage medical records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Experience with filing, scanning, indexing and releasing records.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure medical documents (lab/imaging/consults) are completed and signed by providers.
• Image and scan documents into EMR system.
• Process patient information requests per policies and regulations.
• Distribute medical files to appropriate parties per laws.
• Support medical record audits and respond to calls.
• Train staff on records processing and maintain organized workspace.
