Midwest Health is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to maintain and secure patient records in full compliance with federal and state guidelines. You will support the medical records program, follow policies, and assist with related administrative duties across departments.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Report abuse/neglect immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain accurate, organized medical records and charts.
• Abstract information for insurance or regulatory needs as required.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge processes as needed.
• Answer inquiries regarding medical records functions.
• Ensure records are filed and secured per policies.
• Prepare reports for staff or committees as directed.
