Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of CODER experience in Medical Records preferred.
• Knowledge of HIM systems and operations; able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the medical records department through clerical, technical and related tasks.
• Code discharged patients' accounts.
• Prepare patient charts for discharge and assemble components in the correct order.
• Assign and abstract medical and consultant data.
