Job summary

Penn Medicine Becker ENT & Allergy is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our Central Jersey team. You will greet patients, enter demographics into Epic, check patients in/out, and schedule appointments while supporting Providers and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of medical receptionist or medical assistant experience, strong customer service skills, and proficiency with EMR systems and Google Apps.

Qualifications

• 1 year of medical receptionist or related experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience with EMR systems and Google Apps preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and vendors.
• Obtain and enter patient demographics into the EMR (Epic).
• Check patients in and out.
• Room patients and record vitals in the EMR.
• Schedule appointments for return and new patients.
• Answer calls regarding scheduling, prior authorizations, imaging or refills.
• Assist Providers during procedures.
• Follow opening and closing checklists; keep reception area stocked.
