Responsibilities include greeting patients, check-in/out, verifying contact information, confirming insurance and collecting co-pays, handling calls, protecting HIPAA privacy, and scheduling reminders.

Responsibilities

• Greeting all patients and visitors.
• Perform patient check in and check out.
• Verify patient’s contact and personal information at all visits.
• Verify the patient’s insurance and collect any associated co-pays at the time of service.
• Answer incoming calls and direct the caller accordingly.
• Maintain patient privacy by following HIPAA guidelines and safety rules.
• Conduct patient appointment reminders.
