Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Frederickson, WA is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first in-person contact for patients. The role covers front desk duties, greetings, phone calls, scheduling, registration and basic office tasks with a 0.75 FTE, days shift M/W/F on ten-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Post high school office procedures preferred.
• Minimum one year of clerical and/or receptionist experience; or six months in a medical setting.
• Customer service experience.
• Degree or relevant certificate may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients, answering phones and directing calls.
• Assisting patients/families and scheduling, registration, charge entry.
• Payment posting, batch balancing, cash reconciliation/balancing, and operating basic office equipment.
