Job Description
We are seeking a Medical Receptionist Medical Assistant to join our team! You will plan physical rehabilitative programs to improve patient quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Answer phones, electronic scheduling, verify insurance benefits, collect copay, faxing/filling.
• Clean and organize work area and disinfect equipment after treatment.
• Instruct, motivate, safeguard, or assist patients practicing exercises or functional activities, under the direction of therapy staff.
• Change linens, such as bedsheets and pillowcases.
• Secure patients into or onto therapy equipment.
• Team player attitude, energetic, excellent customer service.
• Observe patients during treatment to compile and evaluate data on patients' responses.
• Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation.
• Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery.
• Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress.
• Record and document patient care services.
• Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or other related fields.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Ability to build rapport with patients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong leadership qualities.

The pay rate will be $$$/hour depending on experience.
