Texas Oncology is looking for a PRN Virtual Senior Medical Assistant - FMLA to join our team! This position will be remote but local to The Woodlands, Texas. Under direct supervision, the Medical Assistant assists physicians and clinicians with patient care in a clinical environment, promoting efficient patient flow and care, including exams and procedures. Tasks include clerical duties, answering phones, maintaining physician schedules, supporting compliance, and more.
Requires body motion, handling, lifting up to 40 lbs, standing, walking, and vision/hearing capabilities. Exposure to common healthcare environment hazards may occur.
