We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our virtual clinic, working Monday through Friday from 9-5 pm EST.

About The Role

Patient Care:

• Prepare patients for physician visits
• Connect with patients, ensure video and audio functionality, add interpreters as needed
• Obtain signed telehealth consent
• Obtain photos of insurance cards

Clinical Duties:

• Prepare patients for physicians
• Document up-to-date medication lists with dosing
• Record Medical History
• Document Primary Complaint

Administrative Tasks:

• Schedule follow-up appointments
• Make appointment confirmation calls for the next day
• Perform chart checks and preparation for upcoming visits
• Discover and suggest improvements for communication and patient engagement
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation
• Implement policies to enhance patient experience

About You

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required
• 1-3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for delivering outstanding patient care
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Flexible, quick learner, and adaptable
• Experience with virtual care is a plus
