Job summary

Texas A&M University Health Science Center in Bryan, TX seeks a Medical Receptionist I for Front Desk duties in Primary Care & Rural Medicine. You will greet patients, manage scheduling calls, check-in, verify demographics and insurance, and assist with billing while maintaining HIPAA guidelines in a busy clinic.

Minimum education is a high school diploma with two years of related experience; associate degree preferred. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent with two years of related experience.
• Preferred: Associate's Degree; two years' medical office experience; EHR familiarity; Spanish language skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient phone calls to schedule appointments and route to staff.
• Check-in patients at front desk and verify demographics and insurance.
• Assist with billing activities and various related projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
