Qualifications

• Prior experience as medical receptionist or medical office assistant.
• Familiar with insurance verification, HIPAA, and billing processes.
• Proficiency with EHR and scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional front desk experience.
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software.
• Answer and route incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries in a timely manner.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and process billing and co-pays accurately.
• Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office.
• Handle medical documentation, referrals, and prior authorizations as needed.
