Carbon Health seeks a courteous Fixed Term Medical Receptionist for our Eastvale clinic. You’ll be the first contact for patients and visitors, manage front-desk operations, and support a smooth patient flow in a busy clinical environment.

In this hourly, full-time role, you will use EHR and scheduling systems, assist with patient registration, collect payments, and coordinate with clinicians and staff to uphold a welcoming, confidential care experience. Prior healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years in receptionist, admin, or customer service, healthcare preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare admin coursework is a plus.
• Proficient English with strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience using scheduling software and EHR/practice management systems.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and provide directions as needed.
• Answer, screen, and route calls and inquiries to clinical staff promptly.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments per clinic protocols.
• Register patients, verify information, and update demographics and insurance data.
• Collect co-pays and payments, issue receipts, and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain patient charts and ensure confidentiality and privacy compliance.
• Coordinate patient flow in waiting areas and communicate delays to patients.
• Use EHR and scheduling systems to document interactions and follow-ups.
