Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 years of receptionist/administrative experience.
• Health care setting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English with clear verbal and written communication.
• Experience using EHR or practice management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and visitors professionally and provide directions as needed.
• Answer, screen, and route calls and inquiries to clinical staff.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments following clinic protocols.
• Register new patients and verify demographic and insurance data in the system.
• Collect co-pays and payments, issue receipts, and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain patient charts and ensure confidentiality and privacy compliance.
• Coordinate patient flow in waiting areas and communicate delays.
• Assist with forms, consents, and other documentation as needed.
• Transmit messages and test results to patients, liaising with staff.
• Support referral and authorization processes with required information.
• Document interactions in the EHR and scheduling systems.
