Munson Healthcare is seeking a Medical Business Specialist (Receptionist) in Petoskey. You will be the first point of contact for patients, verify information, and enter data into our registration system to ensure smooth visits.

You will schedule appointments, greet patients, and respond to questions while supporting a compassionate patient experience within a large healthcare network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• Minimum two years' experience as a Medical Practice Business Associate or in a similar healthcare role.
• Proficient typing, Windows skills, and experience with multiple computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for patients and families; greet and assist professionally.
• Enter patient and insurance information into the registration system accurately.
• Schedule patient appointments, including referrals and diagnostic procedures.
