Women First OBGYN

a Partner Practice of Together Women's Health, is seeking a full-time Receptionist to join their growing team.

The Receptionist is a brand ambassador responsible for providing a warm welcome to every patient, every time. This role must deliver outstanding customer service to each patient, whether on the phone or in person. The Receptionist is also responsible for greeting patients, scheduling future appointments, and utilizing the Electronic Health Record system professionally and efficiently.

1. Greeting every patient with a smile.
2. Completing and updating patients' insurance information accurately and efficiently.
3. Using the Electronic Health Record system to complete registration and facilitate patient visits with physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives, or diagnostic technicians.
4. Completing the check-out process by scheduling future appointments and providing referral information as directed by providers.
5. Verifying insurance eligibility to ensure timely billing to third-party vendors.
6. Collecting co-pays and deductibles per billing policies.
7. Answering the appointment line and checking email appointment requests.
8. Scheduling appointments at office sites and/or diagnostic departments.
9. Must have a strong commitment to providing exceptional, professional, warm, and caring service that meets patient needs. Experience in a medical setting is preferred; new graduates from certified medical assistant/receptionist programs are welcome.
10. Previous customer service experience is required.
11. One year of medical office experience is preferred.
12. Strong oral and written communication skills.
13. Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
