Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a friendly, professional first impression.
• Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently.
• Provide registration forms and collect required patient documentation.
• Obtain and scan copies of insurance cards, identification, and other required documents.
• Register new patients and update existing patient records.
• Verify insurance information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collect patient payments, copays, balances, and other required fees.
• Process cash, check, and credit card payments.
• Assist with billing questions, payment issues, and basic account inquiries.
• Maintain patient flow and communicate wait times or updates as needed.
• Answer phones with a clear, professional, and courteous manner.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist patients with follow-up appointments and medical documentation requests.
• Balance daily patient charges against system reports.
• Complete opening and closing procedures, including preparing paperwork and submitting required reports.
• Follow cash control procedures and help secure financial assets.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential patient records.
• Support front office operations and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
