• Status: Full Time Non-Exempt (Hourly)
• Location: 5 Jeanne Drive Newburgh, NY 12550
• Reports To: Practice Director
• Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00PM with occasional travel to Poughkeepsie

Candidate Profile

We seek a compassionate, results-oriented individual who excels in a patient-centered healthcare environment. Strong communication, critical thinking, flexibility, and willingness to travel within our network are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients
• Verify insurance and demographic information
• Ensure compliance with federal and meaningful use guidelines
• Scan and manage patient information in EMR
• Obtain patient authorizations and schedule follow-up appointments
• Monitor daily schedules and assist with office supply management
• Maintain waiting room cleanliness and assist colleagues

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate’s preferred
• Minimum one year relevant experience or training
• EMR experience is a plus
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
