Ophthalmology is an expanding academicdepartment with increasing clinical volume, faculty recruitment, activeresearch programs, and a robust residency program. This position will providededicated operational expertise to strengthen clinical workflows, optimizeModernizing Medicine (ModMed), improve revenue integrity, enhance physicianproductivity reporting, and support documentation and compliance across thedepartment.
TheMPS will serve as a strategic operational partner to departmental leadership,faculty, clinical staff, UNMMG, University Hospital, and other keystakeholders. The position will establish clear ownership of practiceoperations and serve as the department’s primary resource for ModMed workflowdevelopment, process creation and standardization, productivity reporting,documentation integrity, and revenue cycle optimization. The role will helpensure that clinical workflows, documentation, charge capture, coding, anddownstream billing processes are aligned and consistently executed.
KeyResponsibilities
Thisposition offers an opportunity to play a critical role in the continued growthof the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. The MPS will helpestablish the operational infrastructure necessary to support expandingclinical services, faculty growth, new workflows, and the department’scontinued investment in ModMed. The position will work closely withdepartmental leadership and clinical partners to translate data and operationalfindings into standardized, sustainable processes that improve financial performance,compliance, provider confidence, and patient care operations.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
