Job summary

The University of Vermont Health Network seeks an Operations Support Specialist to ensure the daily, efficient operation of a medical practice within Central Vermont Medical Center. You will support providers, administrative and nursing staff while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to policy.

Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, you address operational and personnel concerns, engage in solution-based problem solving, and communicate with leadership on arising issues.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business administration or related field, or 3–5 years of leadership experience.
• Knowledge of physician practice operations and healthcare financial environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operation of the medical practice on a day-to-day basis.
• Serve as the primary resource for providers, admin and nursing staff to address concerns.
• Provide solution-based problem solving and escalate to Practice Manager as needed.
