Job summary

Avance Care in North Carolina is seeking a conscientious and reliable Office Manager to lead busy primary care clinics. This full-time role is Monday–Friday with occasional after-hours, focusing on clinic operations, patient satisfaction, staff coordination, and adherence to quality standards.

You will manage daily checklists, liaise with corporate and clinic teams, address patient concerns, analyze metrics to improve outcomes, and ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in medical office supervision.
  • Relevant degree required.
  • Certifications such as EMT-B, LPN, CMA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly office manager checklists, reports, and documentation.
  • Liaise between corporate office, clinic team, and external entities to ensure clear communication and workflow adherence.
  • Handle patient complaints promptly with tact and compassion.
  • Analyze operational business metrics to drive business and clinical quality outcomes.
  • Ensure HIPAA and OSHA regulation compliance and maintain a safe environment.
  • Interact with vendors, suppliers, and other related entities as necessary.
  • Manage practice locations, including equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance contracts.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to share information and address company updates; manage scheduling and shift coverage.

We are seeking a conscientious and reliable candidate who brings a strong leadership background to join our team as an Office Manager.

  • This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional after-hours as needed.

Selected Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly office manager checklists, reports, and documentation.
  • Act as a liaison between the corporate office, clinic team, and external entities to ensure clear communication and workflow adherence.
  • Handle patient complaints promptly with tact and compassion, involving relevant parties when required.
  • Analyze operational business metrics to drive business and clinical quality outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations, maintaining a safe environment for both employees and patients.
  • Interact with vendors, suppliers, and other related entities as necessary.
  • Manage practice locations, including equipment maintenance, and preventative maintenance contracts in accordance with company policy and procedure.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to share information and address company updates.Manage employee scheduling, oversee time off requests, and ensure continuous shift coverage.

Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree, at least 3-5years of experience in medical office supervision, and preferably hold a certification such as Emergency Medical Technician (EMT – Basic), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Graduate of a Medical Assisting Program (MA), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA).
