Job summary

Under the Chief Physicist's direction, you will calibrate equipment, manage regulatory licenses, and drive continuous improvements with oncologists, dosimetrists, and therapists.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health or Medical Physics from an accredited institution.
• Certification by ABR/American Board of Medical Physics in Radiation Oncology Physics or equivalent.
• State licensure or eligibility; RAM license eligibility for HDR where applicable.
• Experience with QA, calibration, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and evaluate radiation treatment plans for accuracy and safety.
• Provide expert guidance on procedures, technologies, and treatment delivery.
• Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to maintain QA programs.
• Coordinate licenses and regulatory compliance for brachytherapy and NRC licenses.
• Assist in implementing new technologies and drive quality improvements.
• Support department culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
