Intermountain Health in Las Vegas, NV, seeks a Certified Medical Physicist to lead the design, optimization, and QA of radiation treatment plans, ensuring the highest accuracy and patient safety. You will collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, therapists, and leaders to provide technical leadership in treatment planning and QA.

This role includes calibrations, brachytherapy oversight, RSO collaboration, and supporting new technologies while driving quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Health or Medical Physics from an accredited institution (degree will be verified).
• Certification by ABR/ABMP/CCMP in Radiation Oncology Physics or equivalent.
• Licensure in the state of practice as required.

Responsabilités

• Design, optimize, and evaluate radiation treatment plans to ensure precise patient care.
• Provide expert technical guidance for radiation therapy procedures and treatment delivery.
• Lead QA and quality management programs in collaboration with Radiation Oncology leadership.
• Coordinate with Radiation Safety Officer to ensure regulatory compliance and safety.
• Support implementation of new technologies and treatment techniques.
• Contribute to a culture of teamwork and continuous learning in the department.
