Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Team Lead (Practice Coordinator) to act as onsite lead, guiding the practice team through scheduling, inventory, and patient flow to deliver high-quality care. You’ll champion best practices, coach teammates, and ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced primary care setting.

You will work under the Operations Manager to drive daily management, improve processes, and uphold patient experience using CI CARE and strong communication.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role in high touch customer service or patient facing healthcare
• Postsecondary Medical Assistant program accreditation is preferred by CHAAHEP/ABHES or equivalent
• Active Medical Assistant certification from a recognized body (NHA, AAMA, NCCT, AMCA, NAHP, NCMA, AMT) or equivalent
• Proven ability to foster collaborative, high-performance team dynamics
• Experience with billing and insurance workflows is preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational readiness with staffing checks and shift publishing
• Lead and coach team members to drive performance and patient experience
• Manage daily operations including scheduling, inventory, and facilities
• Support and monitor billing, revenue cycle, and financial health of the practice
• Handle patient interactions with CI CARE framework for a quality experience
• Oversee front desk duties, intake, verification, tests prep, and office upkeep
• Support quality health outcomes, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and change initiatives
