Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking an Office Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of designated office areas, working with the Practice Manager to deliver exceptional patient care.

You will ensure friendly, efficient service, maintain smooth office flow, and collaborate with supervisors to meet operational goals. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in a medical office and some supervisory experience, with MA credentialing preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a Medical Office with reception or cross-trained MA duties.
• Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
• Must be credentialed as Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, CCMA, NRCMA, or CMAC).

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of assigned areas.
• Manage complex patient reception, medical records, or insurance issues.
• Suggest process improvements for better patient experience.
• Assist with recruitment, hiring, orientation, training, and coaching.
• Maintain scheduling, time and attendance for staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and recommend promotions or discipline.
• Coordinate care and liaise between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
