Ozark Center in Joplin, MO is seeking an Outlying office MOSS/Float clerk who provides clerical support across centers, assists with medical records and admissions, and covers multiple sites as needed. The role involves traveling to different locations and interacting with individuals affected by behavioral health issues in a trauma-informed environment.

Outlying office MOSS/Float performs clerical functions associated with clerical support services, medical records, and admissions specialists. This person also learns multiple different programs across the center to provide coverage. The Float travels from multiple sites to different locations where coverage is needed. This person recognizes that they will come into contact, on a daily basis, with individuals impacted by a variety of behavioral health (addiction/substance use and mental health) issues, recognizing that the individuals we serve often times have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment. This staff demonstrates a warm and welcoming empathic, hopeful attitude, conveying a philosophy of dual recovery. They will be trained in trauma-informed care and will work to help provide services in an environment that is sensitive and responsive which will prevent victimization, abuse, or trauma as a result of the care received. This person reports to the Clinical Support Team Leader.
