Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year preferred in medical clerical or medical records.
• Medical office clerk or medical records experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming phone calls, check messages, and distribute messages.
• Maintain clinical scheduling calendars.
• Create client EMR and complete financial paperwork.
• Collect payments for services rendered at appointments.
• Scan releases, insurance cards, and IDs into electronic charts.
• Complete medical records tasks including auditing, scanning, and closing EMR.
• Cover support service areas when vacant.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
