• Document cancellations and no-shows in the scheduling system.
• Page medical staff when appropriate and document telephone encounters.
• Manage an appointment waiting list and contact patients for scheduling.
• Confirm appointment times and provide directions and parking information.
• Review schedules and align demographic/insurance data.
• Verify insurance eligibility and authorizations when necessary.
• Process registrations and collect co-payments.
• Provide patient identification and ensure consent procedures are completed.
• Assist with discharge follow-up scheduling and reconciliation of records.
