Job summary

Dayton Physicians Network in Middletown is seeking a Support Associate – Scheduler to join our team. The role focuses on scheduling patient exams, diagnostic tests, treatments and surgeries, and providing courteous service to patients and staff.

You will work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, in a full-time office setting. Our benefits include health, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, and a holiday program to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1 year in medical office scheduling; 2-3 years preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Experience with a Practice Management system; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient exams, tests, treatments and surgeries.
• Answers patient inquiries regarding appointment schedules.
• Notifies patients of pertinent information required for procedures and tests.
• Contacts physicians’ offices and labs to request results or documents as needed.
• Obtains and updates patient demographic information.
• Adheres to health care privacy rules and Dayton Physicians Core Values.
