Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to support multiple healthcare providers in Massachusetts. The role demands strong clinical judgment, patient education, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and staff.

You will perform triage, immunizations, and minor procedures, document vital signs in EMR, and ensure quality care while maintaining regulatory standards and patient advocacy.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current RN license to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Must maintain BLS certification.
  • Medical Office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient triage and provide patient care in support of multiple healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, clinical support staff, and other disciplines to plan and coordinate patient care.
  • Conduct telephone triage and assess patient symptoms.
  • Administer immunizations, allergy injections, medications, blood, and blood products.
  • Perform blood draws and obtain/document height, weight, and blood pressure.
  • Assist physicians with minor procedures.
  • Prepare exam rooms and restock supplies.
  • Process prescription refills through the electronic medical record.
  • Assess patients and families, interpret health data, and make nursing-care judgments.
  • Deliver age-appropriate physical care, treatments, positioning, transportation, and equipment use.
  • Monitor patients for acute changes and intervene appropriately.
  • Evaluate care effectiveness and adapt plans based on patient/family response.
  • Establish professional relationships with colleagues, patients, and families.
  • Educate patients and families about illness, treatment, and prevention.
  • Support community-based activities.
  • Collaborate to ensure quality and continuity of care.
  • Serve as a patient advocate within legal limits.
  • Uphold nursing-care standards and demonstrate evidence-based practice.

Requirements
