Job summary

Vitruvian Health is seeking a Registrar to manage front-desk operations in our outpatient setting. You will verify patient information, collect payments, and ensure accurate scheduling and data entry for visits.

You will work with physicians and staff to obtain records, verify insurance eligibility, and process referrals. Experience with CPT/ICD-10 and Athena software is preferred; high‑quality customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years front-desk experience in a physician practice or clinic.
• Familiarity with CPT/ICD-10 coding conventions preferred.
• Proficiency with medical software and basic PC skills; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure provider schedules are accurately populated and telephone inquiries are answered per protocols.
• Verify patient demographics, clinical and financial data before or during visits; obtain insurance cards and eligibility; secure authorizations as needed.
• Process payments, manage cash drawer, and perform charge entries in EMR; review encounters for proper coding.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to obtain medical records and complete referrals; handle patient balance reporting.
