Medical Receptionist | Healthcare Administrative Role

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist with 1–2 years of relevant experience to perform administrative, clerical, operational, and customer support tasks in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be organized, courteous, and capable of handling routine assignments while ensuring a professional and welcoming front-desk experience for all patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks such as answering phones, managing messages, and supporting front office operations.
  • Operate a switchboard or multi-line phone system, routing calls and maintaining call logs.
  • Take and distribute accurate messages promptly.
  • Greet visitors and ensure they are attended to courteously.
  • Issue visitor passes, maintain logs, and notify staff of visitor arrivals.
  • Respond to inquiries about location, hours, contact details, and general information.
  • Keep front-desk and lobby areas tidy and professional.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a healthcare administrative role.
  • Knowledge of healthcare environments and patient interaction protocols.
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) or other EHR systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and handle confidential information discreetly.
