Qualifications

• Strong computer skills and familiarity with medical terminology.
• Athena experience preferred.
• 2+ years medical office experience or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for new patients, sick visits, and follow-ups.
• Answer phone calls and process requests from patients.
• Process and file e-faxed documents into patient charts.
• Handle patient records requests and scan paperwork into charts.
• Monitor patient portal messages and respond when appropriate.
• E-fax referrals and forms to designated locations.
• Greet and check-in patients for appointments and collect IDs.
• Collect co-pays and balances from patients.
• Assist with follow-ups and appointments planning.
• Review upcoming appointments to anticipate needs and supplies.
