SoNE HEALTH in Vernon, CT is seeking a full-time Patient Care Representative to support daily medical office operations, manage appointments, answer calls, and maintain patient records with accuracy and care.

This role requires strong computer skills, familiarity with medical terminology, and experience with health insurance; at least two years in a medical office is preferred. Location is Vernon, CT, with competitive benefits.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years medical office experience or equivalent.
• Athena experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule patient appointments (new, sick visits, physicals, office visits).
• Answer telephone calls and process requests.
• Process and file e-faxed documents into the patient’s chart.
• Process incoming and outgoing medical records requests.
• Scan paperwork into the patient’s chart.
• Monitor patient portal messages and respond as appropriate.
• E-fax referrals, school physical forms and other paperwork to designated location.
• Greet and check-in patients for appointments and collect signatures, IDs, and insurance cards.
• Collect co-pays and balances from patients; schedule follow ups.
• Review upcoming appointments to anticipate needs and inventory.
• Notify patients about labs and medications as appropriate.
