Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist / Business Services Representative to join our team. This role focuses on maintaining smooth patient flow within the practice by greeting patients, handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, and performing essential registration tasks.

The position requires a high school diploma and experience in a medical office or billing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or billing department preferred.
• Strong keyboard skills. Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office products.
• Accuracy and dependability required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients in person or by phone.
• Answer calls professionally and route to the right staff.
• Schedule patient appointments per department protocols.
• Register patients and verify insurance.
• Assist with pre-certifications, prior authorizations, referrals.
• Process incoming/outgoing faxes and provide clerical support.
