Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist / Business Services Rep to join our Women's Health Breast Center. You will be the first point of contact, greeting patients and guiding them through check-in and scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or billing department preferred; knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology.
• Excellent keyboard skills and proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients in person or by phone in a courteous and professional manner.
• Answers telephones promptly using scripting and directs calls to appropriate staff.
• Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols to maximize provider productivity.
• Performs patient registration, insurance verification, copay collection, pre-certifications, and referrals as needed.
