Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Clerk to assist in planning, procuring and distributing supplies and services for surgical centers.

You will collaborate with the Materials Manager and support invoicing reconciliation, acting as a liaison between center Materials Managers and corporate management. The role requires knowledge of medical terminology, strong supervisory skills, and the ability to manage supplier relationships while maintaining inventory levels.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to work well independently and perform duties under pressure.
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of Excel.
• Three to four years experience in medical materials management or one to two years as OR materials management.
• Background in Surgical Setting considered.
• Strong supervisory and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of Surgical Specialties and their prospective equipment & supply needs.
• Product prioritization and management, keeping number of similar items to a minimum.
• Manage material inventories.
• Maintain inventory levels to provide good asset turnover.
• Manage the center staff’s management of supplier’s relationships and agreements.
• Knowledge of Packaging, Transport, Health & Safety regulatory guidelines and compliance to ensure facility compliance.
• Assist in Inventory updating and Standardization.
