Job summary

The Valley Health System in Southern Nevada seeks a Medical Technologist to analyze laboratory specimens and report results per protocol. This role also serves as a resource for Medical Laboratory Technicians and Lab Assistants, supporting the Lead Medical Technologist.

Requires NV State Licensure as Clinical Laboratory Technologist; BSMT/ASCP or equivalent. 3 years of Medical Technologist experience preferred; provisional NV licensing may be required for new grads.

Qualifications

• Education: BSMT(ASCP) or equivalent per CLIA’88.
• Experience: 3 years as Medical Technologist preferred.
• License/Certification: NV State Licensure as Clinical Laboratory Technologist; ASCP or equivalent.
• New grads must certify within 6 months of hire; provisional NV license may be required before hire.
