Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. is seeking a Medical Technologist to analyze laboratory specimens and report results in accordance with established protocols. This role serves as a resource for technicians and lab assistants, while supporting the Lead Medical Technologist.

Candidates should hold BSMT/ASCP or equivalent per CLIA’88, and possess Nevada licensure. Prior experience as a Medical Technologist is preferred, with ongoing NV licensure maintenance required.

Qualifications

• Education: BSMT(ASCP) or equivalent as defined by CLIA’88.
• Experience: Three (3) years as Medical Technologist preferred.
• License/Certification: Nevada State Licensure as Clinical Laboratory Technologist. ASCP or equivalent board registration/education required to satisfy Nevada License requirements must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Analyze laboratory specimens and report results according to laboratory protocol and procedures.
• Serve as a resource for Medical Laboratory Technicians and Lab Assistants.
• Support and assist Lead Medical Technologist.
