Job summary

Qualifications

• Meets Nevada licensure requirements for Medical Technologist or Specialty Technologist.
• Recent hospital/acute care laboratory experience preferred.
• Strong attention to accuracy and safety in handling specimens.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs complex laboratory analyses per established protocols.
• Calibrates equipment and performs quality control and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoots laboratory instruments and validates methods.
• Assists in training staff and students during clinical rotations.
• Communicates test results to physicians as appropriate.
