Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in medical technology or laboratory science required.
• Current state license if required.
• AMT, ASCP or equivalent certification preferred but not required.
• Position requires 5 or more years experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with phlebotomy and collecting specimens as ordered.
• Perform specimen analysis in Chemistry, Hematology and Immunology.
• Maintain and operate laboratory equipment and QC records.
• Follow QA policies and safety procedures and document corrective actions.
• Prepare peripheral blood smears and report results.
• Ensure proper handling and processing of all specimens.
