Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in medical technology or laboratory science is required.
• Current state license if required.
• AMT/ASCP or equivalent certification preferred but not required.
• Position requires 5 or more years experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with phlebotomy and specimen collection as ordered.
• Perform routine and special procedures (e.g., bone marrows) as needed.
• Follow QC policies and document calibrations and maintenance.
• Perform specimen analyses in Chemistry, Hematology, and Immunology.
• Prepare slides and conduct WBC differential; examine urinary sediment.
• Process send-out testing and document results.
