Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Lewisville, TX seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician II for Sunday to Thursday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM. This role is under the Microbiology department and involves performing and reporting high-complexity tests with strict QC, guided by SOPs and on-site supervision.

Required is a minimum of three years of high-complexity clinical lab experience with BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or equivalent.

Competenze

• Minimum of three (3) years high complexity testing in clinical laboratory with BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology.
• Previously qualified as a Technologist under 42 CFR 493.1433 (as of Mar 14, 1990).
• Three to six years high complexity testing experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform and report analytical tests per SOPs, ensuring QC requirements are met.
• May perform moderate/high complexity testing with on-site training and oversight.
• Support lab policies for specimen handling, processing, testing, and records.
• Adhere to schedules to maintain turnaround times including STATS/critical results.
• Ensure reagents/kits have received and expiration dates; document if opened.
• Document QC analyses and decisions; inform supervision of issues.
