Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician I in Coon Rapids, MN. You will perform routine analytical tests and report results under supervision, ensuring QC procedures and accurate record-keeping. This role supports patient care with timely data.

Working Monday through Friday with rotating shifts, you may cover weekends/holidays. You will adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines while maintaining equipment and documenting results in the LIS.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology required.
• BS in Medical Technology or related field preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report on assigned analytical tests under supervision, ensuring QC requirements.
• May perform some moderate complexity testing with appropriate training.
• Maintain quality records and document test results for physician interpretation.
• Adhere to CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety requirements; ensure proper specimen handling and processing.
